Mystery of The Earl - Walkthrough

Chapter 1

The Garden

At the first Mystery of the Earl location you must сollect all the pieces of the Hairpin (circled in yellow). Collect the Broom (circled in green) and place it on the Leaves (1) to zoom there. Move your cursor over the leaves to discover a piece of the Garden Shears. Collect the rest pieces of the Garden Shears (circled in blue) and use them on the Bushes (2) under the tree to cut them away. Collect there the Nestling and place it into the Nest (3) on the tree. The Bird will transform into fairy who gives Little Fairy April, who will appear in the right lower corner. After this click her to get hints.

Collect 10 Diamonds (circled in purple) to obtain a screensaver.

Pick up a part of Lillian’s Diary (circled in white) on the ground near the Bushes.

Collect all the 15 Bouquet Flowers (circled in purple). After this click at the bottom of the scene to move to another location (Lillian’s Chamber).

Lillian’s Chamber

Collect the 10 Diamonds (circled in blue) for the screensaver.

This Mystery of the Earl scene contains two close-ups (they’re marked in purple). Open the boxes (the close-up on the floor) to find the items from your list and pick up the page of Lillian’s Diary (circled in yellow). Note: when you are in a close-up only the items this close-up contains are highlighted. Collect the rest items from the list.

Collect all the fragments in the scene. The last piece of the Flask (marked in orange) is at the close-up with the mirror. Pick up the parts of the Candlesnuffer (marked in yellow) and the Knife (circled in green) at the close-up with the boxes.

Use the Candlesnuffer at the Candle (2) to put out the fire and get the part of the Knife. Then use the Knife at the Top Drawer (1) on the close-up with the mirror to start the Mystery of the Earl puzzle game.

Move the cursor over the jewelry to find and click 10 keys. When you find all the Keys another Mystery of the Earl puzzle game will start.

Use the Keys for the correct locks. At the end you’ll have the Key without a lock. That will be the Key you need. At this moment the puzzle game is finished. The Key will be automatically added to your inventory.

Pour the Flask’s contents into the Glass (3) at the bedside-table and get the Soothing Potion. Give the Potion to Mary, Lillian’s maid. After she steps aside open the Door with the Key. When you get back to the Mystery of the Earl Garden go to the Cottage (at the right side of the scene).

The Cottage

At the Cottage collect the 10 Diamonds (marked in purple) and find all the items in the list.

Collect all the pieces in the scene.

Use the Trowel to dig up the Soil (1) and get the piece of the Seeds.

Feed the Hen (2) with the Seeds and collect the piece of the Empty Ladle. Another part of the Empty Ladle you’ll get after applying the Crowbar at the Loose Board (3).

Fill the Empty Ladle with water from the Barrel (4) and then place it in the Fireplace (5).

After you put out the fire you’ll find the Casket into the Fireplace. Use the Hairpin to open it and get the Note from Christian.

Chapter 2

Christian’s Parlor

Collect all the 10 Diamonds (circled in blue).

Pick up all the pieces of the items in this Mystery of the Earl scene.

Place the Portrait into the Frame (circled in white) over the fireplace after you collect all the pieces of it.

When you place the Portrait into the Frame the puzzle will start. Use your cursor to drag the pieces of the Portrait into the correct positions. Note: when a piece is at the proper place it won’t move anymore.

When you complete the puzzle a piece of the Ribbon will be obtained.

After you’ve found all the marked fragments and solved the puzzle click at the bottom of the scene to move to the next Mystery of the Earl location to continue your searches.

Christian’s Chamber

First you have to collect all the 20 Marbles (they’re circled in blue).

After you finish with the Marbles the 10 Diamonds will be available to collect (marked in light-green).

Collect all the pieces of the items in this Mystery of the Earl scene.

To get the last piece of the Stool click at the Mirror to zoom in (marked in white).

Take the piece of the Stool and then use the Stool at the place near the Drawer to get the piece of the Clothes Pile.

Put the Clothes Pile into the Drawer (marked in green) and get a piece of the Sword.

Use the Magnet at the Carpet to find another piece of the Sword.

Pick up Christian’s Handkerchief (circler in orange).

After you’ve collected all the items here return back to Christian’s Parlor (go to the left part of the scene).

After you return to Christian’s Parlor make sure you didn’t miss the Locket.

Use your Sword to cut the Pillow (1) and find the last piece of the Ribbon.

Tie up the Curtain (2) in the right part of the scene with the Ribbon and get the last piece of the Whip.

After you complete the Whip place it under the Armchair (3) to get the piece of the Golden Angel.

When you complete all the items return back to Christian’s Chamber.

Zoom into the Mirror and place the Golden Angel into the hollow at the top of the frame. After this the puzzle game will start.

Watch the sequence in which the gems in the frame will light up and then repeat it by clicking at the gems in the same order.

When you complete three sequences the game will be finished and the secret passage will appear. Click it to get to the next location.

Secret Room

When you enter this Mystery of the Earl scene you’ll have to find 15 Magic Symbols (sircled in blue).

After you find all the Magic Symbols the 10 Diamonds will be available to collect (circled in green).

Collect all the pieces of the items in the scene.

Place the Gem onto the Book (1) to receive a part of Christian’s Note.

Use the Heavy Brooch to break the Jar (2) in the upper left side of the scene and get a piece of the Statuette.

Take the Statuette and place it in the middle of the circle on the Floor (3) to start a puzzle game.

To solve this puzzle you’ll need to press the Buttons in the right order. Click on the center Button and on the bottom Button at the right side. After you finish the puzzle you’ll obtain a piece of Christian’s Note.

After solving the puzzle in the Secret Room you’ll be automatically moved back to Christian’s parlor.
Click at the Maid – she’ll turn out to be a Witch who will put a spell on you immediately.

To break the spell you’ll need to collect the 15 Clocks.

After you pick up all the 15 Clocks you’ll be automatically moved back to the Castle.
